Textile Excellence
In the world of textiles, quality is not defined only by what customers see - it is built through every step before the fabric reaches them. Founded in 1990 in Bulgaria, Bibtex was established with a clear vision: to become more than a fabric manufacturer, but a trusted partner delivering excellence from the very first stage of production to the final product.
By the end of the 1990s, Bibtex had expanded to six branches across Europe, and by 2008, the company had grown to eleven branches, building strong, long-term relationships with customers in international markets. Our manufacturing journey began with our first factory in Aleppo, Syria, with a production capacity exceeding 50,000 meters of fabric per day and a team of more than 1,000 skilled professionals. Nearly 98% of its production was exported to Europe, reflecting the confidence and trust our products earned in some of the world's most demanding markets.
What truly sets Bibtex apart is our A-to-Z Manufacturing philosophy. Every stage of production is completed in-house, beginning with yarn manufacturing, followed by yarn dyeing, design development, weaving, printing, finishing, pressing, advanced fabric treatments such as Flame Retardant and Water Repellent, laboratory testing, ISO-standard quality control, packaging, and export preparation. This fully integrated manufacturing process gives us complete control over every detail, ensuring consistent quality and exceptional performance in every meter of fabric we produce.
Design has always been one of Bibtex's greatest strengths. Every collection is created through close collaboration between our in-house design team and renowned Italian designers. Together, they combine Italian elegance with technical expertise to create fabrics inspired by the latest international interior design trends.
In 2012, Bibtex opened its fully integrated manufacturing facility in Cairo, Egypt, marking a new milestone in the company's journey. Equipped with the latest European machinery and advanced production technologies, the facility significantly increased our manufacturing capacity, expanded our product capabilities, and enabled every stage of production to be carried out under one roof with greater efficiency, speed, and consistently high quality.
Today, with more than 35 years of experience, Bibtex continues to believe that exceptional fabrics are never created by chance. They are built on expertise, crafted with passion, and tested to the highest international standards - delivering products that reflect the quality, reliability, and excellence behind the Bibtex name.
